Ashok Leyland U- Truck U-3123 T


This is an 8*4 tipper; the biggest feature is the higher fuel efficient low operating.  The U- 3123 T is the first of its kind designed for the bulk movement of the construction material and other low density commodities like coal and coke. The ‘H’ series common rail fuel injection system (CRS) engine ensures high fuel efficiency. The heavy duty aggregates and high capacity load bodies facilitate higher load carrying capacity. All of these enable the U-3123 T to take on any challenges in the construction industry.

CRS Engine:
Turbocharger intercooled ‘H’ series BS3 diesel engine delivers 225 hp @ 2500 rpm. Torque of 800Nm @ 1400 – 1900 for better drivability. Proven ‘H’ series for higher kmpl. User friendly inline FIP for low maintenance cost
Clutch:
380 mm dia axial spring clutch with organic lining for long life. Clutch boosters for fatigueless clutch operation.
Gearbox:
Heavy duty 9 speed synchromesh gear box with overdrive for faster turnaround time and higher fuel efficient in empty condition. First gear ratio 8.83:1. Crawler gear with ratio 12.73:1 for higher gradeability.
Rear axles:
Fully floating single speed MT-149.5 hypoid axle for longer life. Optimised rear axle ratio 5.83: 1 for higher fuel efficiency.
Front axle:
All new heavy duty front axles. Higher wheel lock angle for short turning circle dia.
Frame:
11” deep joggled frame to carry heavier payload. Flanged fasteners for lesser maintenance.
Fuel tank:
300 L cross linked polymer tank. No formation of rust, higher impact strength. Reed type sensor for higher accuracy in measurement of fuel level.
Suspension:
Front: semi-elliltic, multi leaf uprated spring with shock absorber.
Rear: Heavy duty body suspension.
Cabin:
Factory built day cab, fully suspended cab for better riding comfort. Spacious cab with larger storage space. Retractable seat belt for driver safety. 3 piece metal bumper with twin headlamps.
Load body:
Ashok Leyland hydraulics with in house service support. Increased sheet thickness. Sturdy under body construction with increased number of cross bearing. Increased cylinder dia. Front end tipping.
