The VMT 860 has durable high capacity maintenance free fuel and water tanks of 240 liters and 1700 liter respectively to enable productivity operation throughout the working day with out costly and time consuming interruption for refilling.
VMT 860 has been specially designed keeping in mind the tough Indian working conditions. As an example, it has a water tank refilling pump as standard for refilling water from any source-be it a pond, high capacity water tankers, reservoirs etc. It also equipped with two water pumps, each fully capable of keeping the drum moist. In case of failure the other pump has the capacity to keep both the drums evenly moist for uninterrupted application.The water sprinkler system, so essential for asphalt application, has well designed nozzles with a perfect –shape trough to moisten evenly drums surface without excess water falling on ground each nozzle has individual filters to prevent clogging.
The roller has unique operations platform with swivelling operators control panel and rotating seats to make operation very comfortable.The weight adjustable seat and double vibration isolation mechanism – achieves through gas filled high capacity rubber buffers – makes operation comfortable even in an extended shifts. --Technical Videos--

With a drum width of 1675 mm, the VMT 860 weights in at 8750 kg with a standard canopy. Vibration is powered through a single-piece shaft with overturning weights to ensure maximum compaction performance from a robust design which keeps maintenance to a minimum. The electricity- controlled hydrostatic direct drive on both drums gives the operator the flexibility of double, single front or single rear vibration.
