Working of Hydrostatic CVT Explained.

This topic we will be studying about Hydrostatic CVT. See the video in this topic for easy understanding.

Main components of a Hydrostatic CVT:
1. Hydrostatic pump
2. Hydrostatic motor

Hydrostatic pump: it is connected to the engine crank shaft, that mean s this is the driving side and is getting its drive from the engine crank shaft.
Hydrostatic motor: this is the driven side; the drive coming from the pump is driving the hydrostatic motor.

Working of Hydrostatic CVT:
Pleas see the video for better understanding. The hydrostatic CVT has a driving pump and driven motor from which the power is given to the transmission. The pump is of hydrostat type and is getting its drive from the engine crank shaft. The pump converts it into fluid flow. This fluid flow is powering the driven hydrostatic motor and this drive is been transferred to the transmission.
